Alyssa is a multi-award winning volleyball player in the Philippines.

Her grit and stamina as an athlete propelled her to reach new heights in her college years with the Ateneo de Manila University. She garnered multiple individual awards and helped win a couple of championship titles for her college team, Ateneo Lady Eagles. She was UAAP’s 4-time Best Scorer, 3-time Best Server, 3-time Season MVP, and one-time Finals MVP.

Alyssa doesn’t just bring pride to her alma matter, but the entire Philippines as well. She represented the country and was part of the Philippine National Team that finished in third place in the 2014 FIVB Southeast Asian Zone Qualifier held in Quang Tri, Vietnam. In the 2015 Southeast Asian Games, she was assigned to carry the Philippine national flag on the traditional parade of nations held in Singapore. On top of that, she also participated in the 2014 & 2016 ASEAN University Games.

Alyssa proved to be a true MVP, breaking the record for the most points scored in a UAAP women’s volleyball game during the 75th season of the UAAP games. Her other awards include the 1st Best Outside Spiker & Most Valuable Player in the Shakey’s V-League Season 13 Open Conference, V-League gold medals, and PVL MVP awards.

This volleyball superstar also appears on the TV screen and has done some cameo roles in local movies. Alyssa also joined the highly popular reality series Pinoy Big Brother in which she came out as a Finalist. She also dabbled into hosting on TV for Upfront at the UAAP and is an occasional analyst for the PVL.
