Hali Moriah Candido Long, an Filipino-American professional footballer, and proudly represents the Philippines women’s national team. In June 2016, Long was invited to join the training camp for the Philippines women’s national football team, and she was subsequently selected to be part of the Philippine squad for the 2016 AFF Women’s Championship held in Myanmar. This historic event marked the first time that a player from Trojans, her team, competed on a senior national team. Long’s talents were further showcased in April 2017 during the 2018 AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers, where she scored a remarkable hat-trick in a match against Tajikistan. Her outstanding performance helped the team secure qualification for the final tournament in Jordan.

Long’s skill and dedication have earned her a place on the Philippine roster for major international competitions. She proudly represented her country at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games and was also a key player in the 2018 and 2022 AFC Women’s Asian Cup campaigns. As a valued member of the Philippines women’s national team, Long continues to make significant contributions to the sport of football both domestically and internationally.
