Lara is a Filipino TV and movie actress and beauty queen who won the 2005 Miss International beauty pageant held in Tokyo, Japan.

She’s most-known for her roles in Encantadia: Pag-ibig hanggang wakas, Umaaraw, Umuulan, and The Killer Bride. She made her debut on the big screen in the movie Kapag Tumibok Ang Puso: Not Once, But Twice. This was followed by roles in more films such as Dalaw, Aswang, Enteng Ng Ina Mo, The Healing, Kung Fu Divas, and Happy Times.

With her talent and impact to the Filipina women, Lara was named one of the People of the Year in 2005 by People Asia Magazine.
Lara was also awarded the Presidential Order of Lakandula: Champion for Life given by former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. And was also nominated in the 23rd PMPC Star Awards for Movie for the New Actress Award in 2007.

Lara is happily married to Actor Marco Alcaraz with 3 beautiful children. Apart from still acting on the small screen, Lara has focused her digital content on her family life.
