Samir Gogna, popularly known as “”Sam YG,”” is one of the three guys that make up Boys Night Out. He began his career in broadcating at 19 years old, when he successfully auditioned for the Junior Jock program of Magic 89.9.

Soon after college, Sam worked with several television networks including Hero, Studio 23’s Wazzup Wazzup, QTV, and CNN Philippines.

And in 2006, he returned to Magic 89.9 and became a regular DJ, hosting for the show Boys’ Night Out. He also appeared in the show Cool Center as a relationship expert. After Sam’s first comical appearance on GMA’s Eat Bulaga, the show invited him to regularly host for the noon-time show. He also co-hosted for two more shows for the network, Diz Iz It! & Vintage Trip.

Currently, Sam is still hosting for Boys Night Out alongside DJ Slick Rick, Tony Toni & Gino Quillamor. He also partnered with DJ Chacha for the podcast Lecheng Pag-Ibig To! which is one of Spotify’s top rated podcasts in the Philippines. Sam also is a sought after wedding and events host.
